About This Tool

What is the Online Dice Roller?

Our dice roller simulates rolling any standard polyhedral dice used in tabletop RPGs, board games, and educational settings. Choose from D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, and D100 — the full set used in games like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and many others.

Roll up to 20 dice at once with an optional modifier (positive or negative) added to the total. You can view individual roll results alongside the sum, making it easy to apply game mechanics like advantage, damage rolls, or ability score generation.

Everything runs client-side in your browser using JavaScript's Math.random(). No rolls are logged, stored, or sent to any server. The tool is completely free and works on any device.

Frequently asked questions

D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, and D100 — the standard set of polyhedral dice used in tabletop RPGs and board games.
The roller uses Math.random(), a pseudorandom number generator. It's statistically uniform and perfectly suitable for games, simulations, and educational use — but not for cryptographic purposes.
Yes, you can roll up to 20 dice of the same type simultaneously. The tool shows both the total and, optionally, each individual die result.
The modifier is a number added to (or subtracted from) the total roll. In RPGs, this often represents a character's ability bonus, proficiency modifier, or other adjustments.
Absolutely. The roller supports all standard D&D dice (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20) plus percentile (d100). You can roll ability scores (4d6), attacks (1d20+5), damage (2d6+3), and more.
